This a full time, night shift opening. The schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off.

Summary:

Maine Medical Center is seeking a full time, Clinical Flex Pharmacist to support our overnight Inpatient Pharmacy. The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within the acute care setting through review of electronic medication orders, drug therapy monitoring, drug information, and the direct oversight of non-sterile and sterile compounding activities. The Central Flex Pharmacist is a rotating day-overnight position with strong operational and clinical focuses.

The Clinical Pharmacist reviews medication orders for safe and effective medication use; collaborates with physicians and other health care personnel to achieve optimal patient outcomes; and formulates recommendations based on current literature and evidence-based practice.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from a recognized/accredited school or college of pharmacy required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license with Board of Pharmacy required.
  3. Experience: Previous pharmacist experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $122,408.00to $165,630.40per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
