Research Technician I

The Setty Lab (setty-lab.org) at the Fred Hutch is a computational biology lab focused on developing computational tools and methods for analysis of high throughput single-cell genomics data. We work in extensive collaborative partnerships with bench scientists to tackle questions related to cellular differentiation, lineage decisions, regulatory mechanisms, tumorigenesis and emergence of metastasis. We are seeking a Research Technician I to assist in the analysis of the large-scale single-cell genomics data that is being generated from animal models and patient samples. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a background in biology and experience in computer science or statistics, and is enthusiastic about learning how to apply algorithms to single-cell data. The technician will work in direct supervision of Dr. Manu Setty, who has extensive experience in modeling and interpretation of single-cell data. Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation, application and evaluation of tools to process, integrate, batch-correct and visualize single-cell genomics data.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $23.33 to $33.21 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
