  • Data Governance & Quality Management: Establish and enforce HR data standards, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and integrity across Workday and connected People systems,
  • Security Architecture & Compliance: Lead the design and administration of Workday security, including domain and business process security, ensuring role-based access aligns with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting & Analytics Enablement: Develop and govern Workday reporting solutions, including advanced reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and BIRT, while supporting scalable and consistent data access for people analytics and business stakeholders.
  • Integration Optimization & Monitoring: Continuously monitor and audit integration performance, identify failure points, and implement improvements to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficient data processing.
  • Data Architecture Support: Partner with HR and Engineering (data enablement) teams to align Workday data structures with reporting and downstream system needs, supporting improved data usability and AI/data readiness initiatives.
  • Standards & Best Practices: Establish and maintain standards across integrations, data structures, reporting design, and security frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability across the People Systems landscape.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary technical liaison between HR, IT security, integration teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment on data flows, system connectivity, and secure architecture.
  • Continuous Improvement & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify system inefficiencies, data inconsistencies, and reporting gaps, and deliver solutions that enhance system performance and user experience.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to Workday analysts and technical team members, serving as an escalation point for complex integrations, security, and reporting challenges.

What you'll need

  • Experience: 8-10 years of progressive experience in Workday, HRIS, enterprise systems, or application development, with demonstrated expertise in large scale ETL integrations, data governance, security, and reporting.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Data & Governance Expertise: Proven ability to define and enforce data standards, improve data quality, and support scalable reporting and analytics within Workday.
  • Operational Autonomy: Strong ability to independently drive technical solutions, troubleshoot system issues, and execute across integration, security, and reporting domains.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while aligning with broader People Systems and enterprise objectives.
  • Analytical Precision: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to audit data flows, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions across complex system environments.
