Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician supports daily manufacturing operations, assists with process troubleshooting, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for entry-level professionals developing hands-on technical skills in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Tasks:

1st Priority - Daily Execution Support



  • Provide basic troubleshooting for manufacturing processes and equipment. Must have technical aptitude to understand direct cause of issue for Man, Method, Machine, Material, Measurement
  • Assist with documentation of standard work and process instructions.
  • Work with operators and engineers to resolve production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.



2nd Priority - Continuous Improvement



  • Participate in small-scale Kaizen (continuous improvement) activities.
  • Observe production flows and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in implementing 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) initiatives.
  • Support PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycles to drive process improvements.



3rd Priority - Project work



  • Assist in equipment setup and modifications under supervision.

    • Work with tool room and design team to update and implement mechanical and electrical changes.


  • Support trials for new product launches and process validations.
  • Help implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce defects.



Education



  • Associate degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience) preferred.



Experience



  • 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production support role.
