Maternal Fetal Medicine Faculty Physician

The University of North Carolina Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting an open-rank (tenure-track or non-tenure track) Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) faculty physician. Three or more years of MFM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical: High -risk obstetric care, perinatal consultation, prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, genetic services, invasive fetal therapy, and perinatal outreach
  • Teaching: Active participation in UNC's Center for Maternal and Infant Health, student and resident teaching, subspecialty training for six MFM fellows
  • Research: opportunity to participate if desired

Requirements & Qualifications
  • MD or DO required
  • Must be Board Certified/Active Candidate in OB-GYNand Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
  • Completion of both a 4-yearACGMEapproved OB-GYNresidency and a 3-yearABOGapproved fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
  • Preferred: Three+ years of post-fellowship MFM experience Demonstrated commitment to excellence in clinical care and medical education.
