This role is part of Alcon's Project Management function, a team that ensures all regular and one-off projects are planned, organized, and executed effectively to help our people and the world see brilliantly.The Manager, Project/Program Management (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for leading and coordinating projects and programs to ensure they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will build effective relationships with collaborators, drive project planning, manage risks, allocate resources, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Specifics Include:

* Lead and oversee the successful execution of projects and programs
* Provide strategic guidance to project teams
* Ensure projects are completed within stipulated timelines and budgets
* Coordinate with various stakeholders
* Drive project planning, risk management, and resource allocation
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
* Apply advanced knowledge, skills, and experience to achieve objectives predominantly through self-directed workAll associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.

What you will bring to Alcon:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+1 yr)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 3 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
