The Department of Finance within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one or more non-tenure track Visiting Faculty Position(s) in Finance at the level of Visiting Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor starting August 19, 2026. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Position(s) may range from 50% time (teaching 2 classes/year) to 100% time (teaching 4 classes/year) and include a 1-year contract with benefits, with the possibility of renewal. Education Requirement

A Master's degree.

Required Qualifications

- Demonstrated potential for publishing research in top-tier journals.

- Demonstrated ability to teach finance at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Desired Qualifications

- An earned doctorate or strong evidence that the doctoral degree will be completed before August 19, 2026.

- A demonstrated record of publishing research in top-tier journals.

- Evidence of successfully teaching finance at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check.
