JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Research Associate I role will provide a supporting role for ongoing research activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide additional support for the extended science team by:
* Formulating and preparing large batches of cell culture media
* Provide support as needed in ordering supplies to support cell culture media preparation
* Provide support in collecting metabolite samples from ongoing lots on a daily basis.
* Collect and prepare cell culture samples for RNA extraction, qPCR, ddPCR and immunostaining on a weekly basis.
* Maintain accurate records and assist team scientists with recording experimental data.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Cellular therapy laboratory experience
- Knowledge of quality control and maintaining accurate batch records
- Knowledge or experience with performing metabolite assays
- Experience with mRNA handling and analysis of qPCR results

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum requirement of BS degree with 1+ years of relevant laboratory experience or
MS with 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience
