As a Front Desk Officer in an education location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to monitor access, assist visitors, and support security-related operations through strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a busy educational location.
• Monitor the front desk area, greet students, staff, visitors, and vendors, and verify identification, visitor logs, and/or sign-in procedures in support of security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Observe activity at entrances, lobbies, and adjacent reception areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual or suspicious behavior according to site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
