A Tool Crib Attendant at FCA Transport is a vital role that manages the storage, maintenance, and issuance of tools and parts. They ensure workers have the exact tools needed to get the job done efficiently while minimizing equipment loss, theft, and downtime. Position is inside of a transportation facility, so all safety protocols will need to be followed.

Tool Crib Attendant responsibilities:



  • Process Technical Service Requests received from Repair Technicians and others, pull and prepare all parts, and issue them to the requestor at the service window.
  • Large parts weighing as much as 50 pounds will need to be lifted and pulled.
  • Stair climbing is required due to storage in the upstairs Mezzanine
  • Physically receive, count, and verify the condition of inbound deliveries of parts. Accompanying paperwork is to be processed to ensure the accountability of parts.
  • Tracking parts, putting parts on shelves, and data entry into a computer PentaSap program is required.
  • Be accurate and timely with all required paperwork for the position.


Basic Requirements:



  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have experience with Microsoft products and computer data entry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills



Preferred Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree
