HR Analyst (HRIS Data Migration & Document Management) Position Summary The HR Analyst will support the successful implementation of UKG by assisting with historical employee data migration, document uploads, data validation, and HR record management. This role will work closely with the People Operations team to ensure employee records are complete, accurate, and compliant within UKG.
This is a detail-oriented role requiring strong data management skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced implementation environment. Key Responsibilities Historical Data Migration
  • Upload and maintain historical employee records in UKG.
  • Review employee data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Assist with data cleansing activities prior to migration.
  • Validate imported employee data against source systems (BambooHR, ADP, Paycom, etc.).
  • Support testing and audit activities during data conversion cycles.
Document Management
  • Upload employee documents into UKG personnel files.
  • Organize documents according to established naming conventions and retention guidelines.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure documents are correctly assigned and accessible.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Data Integrity & Reporting
  • Conduct regular audits of employee records and document repositories.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Track migration progress and maintain status reports.
  • Support HRIS and People Operations teams with ad hoc reporting requests.
Project Support
  • Assist with HR system implementation activities and cutover preparation.
  • Document standard operating procedures and data management processes.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and issue resolution activities.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications Required
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR, HRIS, People Operations, or data administration.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data validation and reconciliation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
  • Experience with UKG Ready, UKG Pro, BambooHR, ADP, Paycom, or other HRIS platforms.
  • Experience supporting HRIS implementations or data migration projects.
  • Familiarity with employee records management and document retention practices.
Success Measures
  • Historical employee records uploaded accurately and on schedule.
  • Employee documents correctly organized and assigned within UKG.
  • Data integrity issues identified and resolved proactively.
  • Project milestones supported with minimal rework and high accuracy.
  • Positive collaboration with HR, Payroll, and implementation teams.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
