Job Title: Customer Services Support Operator
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (Hybrid) Tues/Weds on-site. Shift: 8am - 5pm
Employment Type: Contract with potential to convert direct.
Industry: Manufacturing
Compensation: $19.57 - $22.50 /hr.
Schedule: 40 hrs/Week. - (1 st shift)
About the Opportunity:
  • Provide exposure to HVAC/Building Automation & Fire Safety customer segments.
  • Spend half the day on phones in a call center environment, with the other half focused on email and other needed tasks.
  • Provide long-term resolutions to our customers, often through creative problem-solving and collaboration across various functions within the client.
  • Manage incoming Salesforce mailboxes/queues and provide timely, professional responses.

What You'll Do:
  • Execute SAP daily transactions, which include order entry, status, returns, credits, debits, and quotes.
  • Provide user support on the client's online catalog and ordering platform.
  • Research issues and questions using available information and resources.
  • Identify, redirect, and escalate problems to appropriate resources per customer support procedures.
  • Fully utilize CRM, logging all customer contacts with thorough details.
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers on order execution, returns, customer inquiries, product selection, and timely order status resolution.
  • Monitor and support on-line real time chat requests.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical programming.
  • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Office applications.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Associate Degree.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Prior exposure to the HVAC/Building Automation & Fire Safety customer segment.
  • SAP experience.
  • Salesforce experience.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize the daily workload of internal & external customer inquiries, including recognizing urgency and acting accordingly.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to address customer inquiries/escalations.
  • Professionalism and excellent customer service skills.
