Job Description

The Senior Consultant I - Reports, Automation, and Dashboards is responsible for delivering accurate, consistent and timely enterprise financial and operational reporting. This role ensures data integrity by driving systematic improvements that automate, streamline, and modernize reporting processes, data visualization, and business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain highly complex, interactive dashboards and infographics using BI tools (primarily Power BI)
  • Independently build advanced financial and operational reports, ensuring accuracy and usability
  • Drive reporting efficiency through automation, standardization, and modernization initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance recurring reports and dashboards
  • Lead end-to-end reporting lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation validation
  • Develop innovative data visualization solutions to clearly communicate insights and support business decision-making
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering trust through effective communication and delivery excellence
  • Provide high-quality, timely, and relevant reporting to support performance improvement initiatives
  • Mentor and cross-train junior consultants; support leadership in talent development and succession planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Power BI (dashboard development, data modeling, DAX)
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, data analysis, reporting automation)
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric (minimum 6 months experience)
  • Experience with data visualization, reporting automation, and BI tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a cross-functional environment

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation or automation
  • Experience in financial and/or operational reporting environments
  • Experience with, or proactive experimentation in, applying AI tools (e.g., Copilot, agents) to improve process efficiency, reporting automation, and insight generation

Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience (preferred)

Equivalent Experience

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 75,100.00 - 126,325.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
