The salary range for this position is $200,000-$440,000. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Application Window Open date: June 18, 2026 Next review date: Friday, Jul 17, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Thursday, Dec 31, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Davis, is recruiting a Sleep Medicine Neurologist for a full-time faculty position. The position is open at the Assistant/Associate/Full rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) or the Clinical Neurology series. The academic rank of the position is commensurate with the level of experience and qualifications of the applicant. Faculty members provide outpatient clinical care; teach medical students, residents, and fellows; and provide university/public service. Outpatient clinic includes a mix of new and follow up patients with dedicated days to read polysomnography's/home sleep tests. The sleep program at UCDH includes an AASM-accredited sleep lab and an ACGME sleep fellowship program. Patient care is provided for all types of sleep-disorders in a multi-disciplinary setting. For the HSCP series, an emphasis is placed on clinical service and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. For the Clinical Neurology series, the position also requires participation in clinical trials, translational, and collaborative research. Opportunities for teaching include supervision of sleep fellows and neurology residents. The UC Davis Department of Neurology is nationally ranked in USN&WR. As a Level 1 Trauma Center UC Davis Health has the largest catchment area of the academic medical centers in California. Qualifications Basic qualifications
