Description

Salary: $66,300 - $72,000/yr

Essential Duties:



  • Understand and promote the organization's Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Report to the Social Work Supervisor within the Medial Foster Care Program.
  • Provide intensive casework services and fieldwork for children and their birth and foster families with the goal of providing permanency as quickly as possible.
  • Conduct intensive outreach to connect children and families with agency and community treatment resources.
  • Utilization of CONNECTIONS, child welfare computer system.
  • Provision of services for permanency of children.
  • Coordinate Family Team Conferences.
  • Provides in-person weekly, reflective supervision time to staff assigned and student interns.
  • Provides support s and critically analyzes strengths and areas for growth
  • Actively participate in case consultation
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in social work or related field required.
  • 3+ years foster care experience required.



Key Competencies



  • Excellent verbal, writing and organizational skills.
  • Strong clinical skills and very good interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Experience working with high need families involved with substance use and mental health disorders.
  • Ability to deescalate situations and provide mediation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with youngsters with special needs.
  • Experience in working with a team.
  • Flexibility and Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Maintain written case records.
