You will work out of one of our global offices as a member ofOptimize, the firm's global procurement and sourcing capability.
Optimize creates leading solutions and experiences across our supplier ecosystem, enabling colleagues to confidently deliver client impact.
You will play a critical role in managing our strategic partnerships with external experts, bringing heavy contracting expertise to protect the firm and maximize value. You will be responsible for end-to-end sourcing operations, ensuring precise contractual alignment, mitigating third-party risk, and delivering value to our client-serving teams.
Some of your key responsibilities include: leading the end-to-end contract lifecycle. You will draft, review, redline, and negotiate complex advisor agreements; leading complex discussions regarding strategic advisor partnerships;establishing and refine best-in-class sourcing processes and key performance indicators (KPIs) for our advisor network. You will implement strategies related to third-party risk management, compliance, and continuous process improvement; acting as a trusted advisor to internal teams, providing expert guidance on advisor sourcing strategies, capability market trends, and risk mitigation;enhance sourcing effectiveness through detailed spend analysis and cost assessments.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, supply chain, finance, law, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or vendor management, preferably with a focus on professional services, external knowledge data, or independent advisor networks
  • Proven expertise in strategic partnership management, including complex contract negotiations, supplier collaboration, and SLA structuring
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with proficiency in tracking sourcing KPIs and conducting detailed spend and cost assessments
  • Ability to thrive in a high-performance environment, bringing a growth mindset, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial spirit to problem-solving
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders as a peer in a complex, fast-paced organization

      to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current
      organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion
      and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
