8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required, as necessary. This position may be eligible for a telework schedule once onboarding into the position is complete and with supervisor approval. |
| Primary Purpose of Position |
This position will serve as the Scholarship and Grants Specialist for the Office of Financial Aid. This position will certify, process, and reconcile scholarships and grants, which are internal and external to the Office of Financial Aid. This position will also serve as the liaison between the University Scholarship Office, Graduate School, and other partner offices on campus. The Scholarships and Grants Specialist will also build a relationship with external partners for the awarding and processing of scholarships and grants. During non-peak times, this position will also assist the Senior Assistant Director with Work-Study awarding, reviewing, payroll, and communications. |

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

| Essential Job Duties |
This position will serve as the Scholarship and Grants Specialist for the Office of Financial Aid.
- This position will certify, process, and reconcile scholarships and grants, which are internal and external to the Office of Financial Aid.
- This position will also serve as the liaison between the University Scholarship Office, Graduate School, and other partner offices on campus.
- The Scholarships and Grants Specialist will also build a relationship with external partners for the awarding and processing of scholarships and grants.
- A critical component of this position is to be able to meet time service expectations both for internal and external clients.

- This position will also perform other job duties and special projects as assigned or directed.

- Experience working with financial records (ex. taxes), scholarships, grants, work-study programs

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to provide accurate information and maintain clear documentation and reports.
