NYU Langone Health, a world-class, patient-centered, integrated, academic medical center, is one of the nation's premier centers for excellence in clinical care, biomedical research, and medical education.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Langone Health Long Island is actively seeking highly skilled and passionate Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists to join our thriving and growing MFM Faculty Group Practice at NYU Long Island. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a world-class academic medical center renowned for its commitment to clinical excellence, innovative research, and outstanding patient care.

Our department delivers approximately 5,000 births annually at our Long Island location, with a collective delivery volume of over 17,000 births across our expansive NYU Langone Health system. This remarkable volume not only reflects the trust our patients and referring physicians' place in our team, but also provides an unparalleled clinical environment for professional growth, collaboration, and academic advancement.

The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine is currently comprised of a group of nine specialized physicians. The team's remarkable depth and breadth of expertise spans a wide array of clinical, educational, and research endeavors within the field of maternal-fetal medicine. The division works with the health systems Advance Fetal Care Center (AFCC) which provides cutting edge fetal procedures. Our faculty also hold leadership roles in regional and national societies, including the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), helping advance better maternal and fetal outcomes. Each member brings a unique and complementary set of skills and experiences, allowing the division to provide comprehensive, cutting-edge care to high-risk pregnant patients and their babies.

Clinically, the division is committed to delivering the highest standard of care, managing complex pregnancies affected by maternal medical conditions, fetal anomalies, and obstetric complications. The team works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary network of specialists to ensure that every patient receives personalized, evidence-based treatment tailored to their individual needs.

From an educational standpoint, the division plays an integral role in training the next generation of maternal-fetal medicine specialists, residents, and medical students. Faculty members are dedicated educators who foster a culture of intellectual curiosity, clinical excellence, and compassionate patient care. NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine is an independent medical school with its own OB/GYN residency and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship, where the applicant would serve as faculty.

In terms of research, our MFM faculty are active in scholarly activity, with active trials, regularly presenting at national meetings, and contributing to the scientific literature through peer-reviewed publications. Our research efforts are focused on improving maternal and neonatal outcomes and advancing evidence-based care for mothers and babies.

Our national recognized MFM faculty collaborate closely with leadership in pediatric, adult subspecialties, nursing, and quality and safety. The division has a MFM fellowship program with one fellow per year. The busy outpatient practice and inpatient services provide a wealth of opportunities to continue to grow clinical research within the division.

Together, the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine stands as a pillar of excellence, dedicated to innovation, education, and the delivery of world-class care to the patients and families they serve.
