Greeter Position Overview: To ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner using appropriate procedures, in accordance with Omni Standards. To handle all payment transactions for all foods and/or beverages purchased in the hotel's restaurants. Key Responsibilities: * Answering phone correctly and politely * Takes reservations as needed and enter into Open Table correctly according to training guidelines * Greeting guests and seat guests * Keep host stand clean and organized * Control heavy volume at Restaurant entrance * Knowledge of hotel property * Inform the guest about daily features and menu items * Knowledge of Bobs concept and menu * Attend to and anticipate guest's needs * Familiarization with menu and know how to properly take to go orders as needed * Follow server rotation, seating and informing servers with chits correctly * Inform manager of all potential issues or complaints immediately * Provide nightly guest tracking to manager prior to leaving * Complete other tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications: * Be committed to providing exceptional customer service * Ability to multi-task * Must be able to stand for 8+ hour per day * Flexible Scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays * Must be Food Handler and TABC certified Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity/AA/Disability/Veteran employer.
