Event Based Parking Cashier - Stockton, CA

Pay Rate: $22.70 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time | On-Call | Event-Driven Schedule

We're seeking energetic and dependable individuals to serve as Event Parking Cashiers in Stockton, CA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing a positive guest experience.

As an Event Parking Cashier, you will assist guests entering and exiting parking facilities during concerts, sporting events, festivals, and other special events. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by processing payments, answering customer questions, and supporting efficient traffic flow.

What you are responsible for

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Process parking transactions accurately using cash and other accepted payment methods.
• Issue receipts and provide correct change when necessary.
• Assist customers with parking-related inquiries and venue directions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity to support efficient vehicle movement.
• Communicate with supervisors and event staff regarding operational needs.
• Help resolve customer concerns while maintaining a high level of service.
• Complete required shift reports and transaction documentation.
• Respond appropriately during equipment malfunctions or traffic disruptions.
• Support additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience required.
• Previous customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Parking, hospitality, retail, or event operations experience is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions confidently.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a shift.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and move throughout the workday.
• Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 pounds when necessary.
• Must be comfortable working in active traffic and event environments.
