Conti Federal Services executes construction projects for the U.S. Federal Government. For nearly 40 years, Conti Federal Services has delivered on-time, on-budget performance for some of the U.S. Federal Government's most challenging projects by operating according to our core values of safety, integrity, quality, entrepreneurship and innovation. From classified defense projects in Europe and Israel, to disaster recovery or homeland security assignments in the United States, to environmental remediation projects in remote or urban locales, our teams bring the experience to provide the services needed to achieve project success.


General Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the financial operations of Conti Federal Services, including financial forecasting, reporting and planning
  • Develops accurate financial statements, forecasts and reports and assists in defining strategic direction for continued growth and profitability
  • Establishes and maintains strong banking, insurance and bonding relationships and aggressively negotiate, procure, and administer financial services
  • Responsible for all tax planning and reporting, including coordination with outside independent accountants, managing state corporate registrations, resolving outside tax problems, managing outside audits and minimizing costs to the organization
  • Oversees all debt, loans, lines, and letters of credit
  • Manages an efficient team and maintains a culture that practices our mission, vision, values and corporate policies
  • Researches, develops and manages to streamline systems, processes, technology and other tools to ensure productivity and effectiveness and compliance with Federal Acquisition and Contracting regulations Proficient understanding of multinational operations, including accounting for foreign currency derivatives, performing consolidations of multi-currency general ledgers, and management of diverse team located in multiple foreign jurisdictions

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field required
  • 5+ years of experience as a CFO required
  • 10+ years of experience in AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) federal contracting and accounting regulations
  • Strong knowledge of principles and practice of GAAP, percentage of completion accounting method, as well as local, federal, and state laws and regulations
  • Thorough understanding of Work in Process and construction revenue recognition
  • Extensive knowledge of tax law
  • Passion for preserving company culture and exhibits honesty, integrity and inclusiveness
  • Demonstrated success in management and leadership with outstanding verbal and written communication and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Proven Leadership skills with an ability to positively and actively engage with all levels of a diverse audience, including senior level executives, team members, varying client industries, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Proficient in cost tracking systems/accounting software
