About the Role We area seeking an Analyst, Bakery - Maintenance Planner to join our tean at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Analyst, Bakery - Maintenance Planner you will co-ordinate and carry out the planning and scheduling of the preventative and predictive maintenance programs for the Maintenance Department. Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)
Coordinate with production and cross-functional teams to plan, prioritize, and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance, including weekly production schedules and planned shutdowns.
Review all incoming work requests, estimate labor, parts, and supply costs, and manage the maintenance work order backlog to ensure efficient prioritization.
Schedule and oversee contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants for repairs, rebuilds, and projects, while representing company interests
Maintain full ownership of the CMMS/SAP system, including accurate electronic and hard-copy records, performance reporting, and tracking completion of maintenance activities.
Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance SOPs; ensure plant facilities comply with all regulatory, safety, and company standards; and stay current on new technologies and engineering practices to improve performance.
Manage maintenance resources by directing stockroom and purchasing functions, ensuring material availability, building parts kits for major jobs, and supporting budgeting for labor, parts, and supplies.
Collaborate with the Director of Engineering on major projects, equipment bids, and capital planning; assist with equipment procurement decisions; and conduct follow-ups to ensure all work is completed satisfactorily.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferredMinimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment
Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and implement effective solutions
Solidtechnical knowledge with a focus on continuous improvement, quality, and productivity enhancements
Effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and maintain professional relationships

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
Working knowledge of CMMS systems and SAP for maintenance tracking and reporting
Experience withpreventive maintenance planning, scheduling, and safety management systems
Familiarity withFDA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and sanitation processes
Knowledge ofOSHA standards, food safety practices, and cost control principles
Demonstrated ability tolead, coach, and develop teams, including workforce planning and performance management
Strong ability tointerpret work orders, manuals, and maintenance documentation, and accurately document completed work
Proficiency inMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and systems such as MS Access, Crystal Reports, CMMS, and barcode software
Effectivecommunication skills, including active listening and participation in team discussions
Strongreasoning ability with the capability to follow detailed instructions and solve practical issues
Bilingual (Spanish) skills considered an asset
