The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Coordinator Support Services are assigned to serve as the primary point of contact with families to facilitate arrange and manage service delivery and supports for families with children eligible to receive early intervention services. The Associate job function supports all aspects of the program not limited to timely scheduling, obtaining extensions for services when indicated, referral of families to the Board of Education and for other services.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma with relevant experience
  • Must have own vehicle and availability to travel

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree Education, Health, Psychology, Social Work, Social Science or other Human Service Field
  • Minimum of 1 year professional experience working with children between 1 and 5
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinating the performance of evaluations and assessments after initial eligibility is established and annually.
  • Assisting families in identifying available service providers/practitioners to initiate timely services within 30 days of the parent consent to the IFSP
  • Facilitating the identification of supports, resources and of advocacy services that assists each family s capacity to enhance outcomes for their children and family.
  • Coordinating with medical and health providers and maintaining appropriate policies and procedures related to confidentiality and security of records.
  • Maintains positive relationships with all customers, employees, physician, patient, visitor, and guests.
  • Utilizes principles of CQI in all work situations
  • Seeks feedback and recommendations from others to improve the quality, processes and services. Contributes to improving quality services and productivity (takes the initiative to continually evaluate one's work, report problems, suggest solutions and try new ideas)
