Job Description




As a Security Officer Reception Concierge in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location as a Front Desk Professional, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, observe activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, checking identification and/or credentials, and directing patients, staff, and guests in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Support front desk operations by documenting visitor activity, maintaining required logs, and reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns through proper channels.
  • Assist with maintaining an orderly lobby and reception area presence that may help to deter unauthorized access and support a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
