Position Summary:

The Director of Marketing is the business owner and strategic visionary for their defined category, leveraging deep consumer understanding and data analytics to manage their business to a profitable P&L; working with functional leaders to develop annual business plans

Key Job Responsibilities:

The Director will define and lead consumer-centric brand strategies throughout the commercial organization, demonstrating consumer and front-line obsession. This includes Field and Customer Sales teams, Revenue Growth Management, DSD Excellence, and the Marketing Center of Excellence including, Shopper, Consumer Insights, the Media and Data Analytics team.

The Director must work collaboratively with our Operational Groups, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain and the Strategy team to ensure the execution of strategies and initiatives important to the business. They will partner with R&D, Technical Services, our plants and/or co-manufacturing partners to refine existing products or to create T1 innovation offers, while also partnering with the Innovation Team to create breakthrough T2-T3 Innovation.

The Director will spend ongoing time in stores and on-site at supply chain facilities to develop a thorough understanding of the full business.

The Director must be able to manage the timely and accurate completion of multiple projects/strategic initiatives occurring simultaneously. Strengths in product conceptualization, creative problem solving, and technology are also critical to implementing solutions.

Proficiency in modern Marketing practices; Data Management and an understanding of agile methodologies is a plus for candidate selection.

This position is eligible to work remote.
Job Requirements

Education and Work History:

* Bachelor's Degree required. MBA Preferred.

* A minimum of 8 years' experience in related field (CPG, Baking, Brand Management, Innovation, Food Manufacturing).

* Experience managing multiple direct reports.

* Experience in forecasting and demand planning preferred.

* Experience working with and analyzing syndicated data.

* Demonstrated strategic thinking abilities.

* Project management skills. Ability to lead cross-functional partners.

* Technical experience a plus (baking background).

* Strong work ethic, flexibility and ability to multi-task required in fast-paced DSD category.

* Candidate must have strong communication skills.
