Provides building maintenance for all Agency locations. Must have the ability to work independently and make decisions and or recommendations regarding minor repairs and maintenance needs. Provide training and oversight for internal Maintenance University trainees. * Performs and documents routine prevention maintenance at all facilities. * Installs, replaces, or repairs ballasts, light fixtures, light switches and electrical outlets. * Performs preventive maintenance on air conditioning units to include replacing filters, cleaning coils, belts and adding chemicals to water chiller/boiler if needed. * Replaces or repairs plumbing fixtures and cleans or unclogs drain lines. * Performs light construction work to include but not limited to; building shelves, underpinning, leveling, bracing and repairing doors/ hinges, and some dry wall. * Performs light painting. * Other duties as assigned. Must be available to respond to after hour and weekend maintenance emergencies. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, bend, pull or push; turn and twist body; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and depth perception. Regular local travel required.
