Role Overview
VersAbility Resources is seeking dependable and detail-oriented General Clerk I - Lens Lab team members to support eyewear manufacturing and distribution operations within a government contract environment.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working as part of a team, and contributing to a production environment. Responsibilities include equipment monitoring, inventory handling, packaging, quality support, and general production activities that help ensure eyewear products are accurately processed and distributed. No prior experience is required-training will be provided.

What You'll Do
*Operate production equipment and tools safely and efficiently
*Monitor production processes and support eyewear manufacturing activities
*Handle lens and frame inventory, materials, and supplies
*Package finished products and prepared shipments for distribution
*Support mailroom operations by sorting and organizing materials
*Maintain equipment, workstations, and assigned work areas
*Monitor quality standards and report production or equipment concerns
*Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
*Follow government contract requirements, safety standards, and organizational procedures
*Provide professional customer service and communication with coworkers, leadership, and government personnel
*Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
*High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
*No prior experience required; training will be provided
*Manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, production, shipping/receiving, inventory, clerical, or quality control experience preferred
*Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
*Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Basic computer and recordkeeping skills preferred
*Must possess a Real ID or Passport for access to military installations
*Must be able to pass required background screening

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position operates in production, manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution environment supporting government contract operations.
The role requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and repetitive movements. Employees must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and safely operate equipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Schedule
This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (40 hours per week).
