Reporting Location: Merrillville, IN Way of Work: Onsite 5 days per week. Job Summary Drives the performance of the assigner team within the Work Management Center by providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to team members. Ensures timely response and exceptional service to internal and external customers within a 24/7 dispatch center environment, supporting continuous operations and reliability of service.
Essential Functions
- Provides daily supervision, technical advice, training and information to team members.
- Plans, directs, supervises, and evaluates workflow. Coordinates work activities to meet operational requirements within a 24/7 dispatch center environment.
- Develops processes to drive consistency
- Develops team performance through guiding, motivating and training each team member to improve performance capabilities while maintaining good customer and employee relations.
- Creates an environment in which team members are actively involved in continuous improvement.
- Models and promotes effective teamwork skills through interactions with team members and other employees
- Compliance with outside regulators and internal company policies as they relate to scheduling and assigning responsibilities.
- Serviceable communications with mobile workforce, field operations, system operations, meter-to cash, call center, construction services, and all others that may apply to ensure a collaborative and effective link.
- Efficient distribution of workload to clerical employees.
- Departmental support systems and tools are utilized and work is coordinated among various departments resulting in effective scheduling, assigning, and data reporting.
- Management of workforce levels to ensure timely completion of all assignments, goals, objectives, and exceptional customer service.
- Effective work performance through data gathering, distribution and communication
Required Qualifications For Position
- 4-6 years' experience in Distribution Operations, or equivalent.
- Supervisory experience or proven leadership ability.
- Demonstrated skill in organizing, scheduling, and planning work to maximize operational effectiveness in a 24/7 or continuous operations environment.
- Ability to assess and make sound decisions.
- Able to travel and work extended hours
- Proficiency in basic PC applications
- CIS, work management software solutions.
Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position
- Bachelor's Degree
- Associate's Degree from an accredited college, or equivalent work experience
- Workforce scheduling experience.
- Performance and productivity analysis experience.
- Understanding of dispatch, scheduling, or assigning functions within a 24/7 dispatch center or similar continuous operations setting.
- Experience leading or participating in continuous improvement initiatives, including process mapping, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.

Salary Range*: $96,600.00 - $144,900.00
*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity. Posting Start Date: 2026-06-12
