Job Summary: |
The CU Anschutz Graduate School is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Open Rank Recruitment and Marketing Specialist. This position will promote graduate school programs through online and in-person venues and advise students on issues related to CU Anschutz Graduate School admissions, academic requirements, and more. The position will also support and maintain positive relationships with university departments involved in recruiting, marketing, and admissions within other CU Anschutz schools and colleges, and with external institutions such as, universities, federal agencies, alumni, employers, and other prospective student pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Student Engagement (50%):
Facilitate in-person and virtual information sessions for all CU Anschutz Graduate School programs (master's and PhD). Provide advice and counsel to prospective students by suggesting programs that align with individual students's educational preparation and career goals. Collaborate with CU Anschutz graduate program directors and administrators to ensure recruitment services align with program needs and goals. Develop and maintain relationships with advisors, faculty, and staff at designated pipeline institutions to ensure prospective students have up-to-date program information. Represent the Graduate School at selected career and grad school fairs, college programs, and campus open houses. Manage and oversee activities and events for prospective and current students, including logistical support for information sessions, receptions, special events, and other student-related functions.
Marketing & Communications (40%):
Create brochures, promotional materials, advertising, and other recruitment and marketing materials, including the Graduate School's Annual report. Utilize data to inform materials' content. Create, implement, and monitor marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels to attract prospective students aligned with graduate program goals. Develop and manage social media presence to promote Graduate School programs and support recruitment goals. Collaborate with internal university communications and marketing teams to produce content for websites, email campaigns, digital media, and print materials. Ensure alignment with university brand standards for all digital, print, and promotional materials. Support graduate programs with the development and maintenance of content on graduate program websites. Analyze campaign performance metrics and recommend improvements to increase engagement and application conversion. Create CRM communications, email outreach, website updates, and other marketing initiatives aligned with program enrollment goals.
Principal Level:
Assist with the development of recruitment strategies and activities to help graduate programs attract a broad and highly competitive applicant pool to achieve their application and enrollment goals. Serve as a subject matter expert in graduate student recruitment, enrollment marketing, and applicant engagement strategies, providing consultation to graduate programs and campus partners. Analyze recruitment and enrollment data to identify trends and help support the Graduate School's mission by recommending evidence-based strategies that support application and enrollment goals.

Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings. |

Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications: Senior Level:
A bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. Two (2) years of professional experience supporting student recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, academic program outreach or related field.
Principal Level
A bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. 3-5 years of professional experience supporting student recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, academic program outreach or related field.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field. Experience with large event organization and planning. Experience working with graduate students, faculty, and campus departments. Experience presenting information in fast-paced, in-person settings. Experience using Technolutions Slate for recruitment and admissions purposes
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Outstanding customer service skills.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as
Senior Level: $52,961 to $67,367 Principal Professional: $60,905-$77,472
