These are the qualifications that matter. Requirements.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a lead or supervisory role in powder coating at an AS9100 or ISO9001 shop.
• Must be an expert at powder coating by being proficient in the use of all its equipment and able to troubleshoot problems.
• Able to understand and comply with all AS9100 quality requirements, along with the additional requirements from our various customers.
• Computer skills allowing for comfortable use of our ERP and QDB.
• Able to read and understand blueprints and their requirements.

Job Duties:

• The correct functioning of the Powder Coating department by keeping up with maintenance, ensuring calibration, and tracking equipment performance
• Ensuring on-time delivery by planning and prioritizing work based on the ERP-driven schedule and appropriately deploying your people as needed
• The quality of the parts going through your department: paint adhesion, thickness, color, masking, cure, et cetera. When something goes wrong, completing and implementing root cause corrective actions
• Following best practices and specified procedures with respect to powder coating and silk-screening.
• Proper interaction with our ERP system (JobBoss) and our Quality Database (uniPoint).
• Monitor, train, coach, and lead your people, all while ensuring safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
