Mon, Wed, Thur: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Tues, Fri: 10 AM - 6:30 PM

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts in a high-volume warehouse or cross-dock environment
• Ability to read and interpret loading manifests and visualize container build plans
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards, including weight distribution and hazardous materials handling
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and freight integrity
• Valid forklift certification preferred, or willingness to obtain/recertify
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic logistics environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, safe decisions in real time

Job Duties:

• Manage container loading strategy for 40' and 45' containers, maximizing space while maintaining safety standards
• Ensure proper weight distribution across trailers to support safe and compliant transport
• Execute efficient and accurate pallet loading, distinguishing between top and bottom freight placement to prevent damage
• Read and interpret loading manifests to build containers according to shipment requirements
• Block, brace, and secure cargo to prevent shifting during transit
• Handle hazardous materials safely and ensure proper placement in compliance with regulations
• Support high-volume warehouse and cross-dock operations with speed and accuracy
• Maintain a safety-first approach in all loading and material handling activities
