A reasonable annual salary estimate for this position is $70,977.00 Application Window Open date: June 11, 2026 Next review date: Wednesday, Jul 1, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Aug 7, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Anthropology seeks a Biological Anthropology and Archaeology Lecturer (ANT 1), Introduction to Archaeology (ANT 3), and Demonstrated experience in teaching and an advanced degree in Anthropology or related discipline is required. We will prioritize recent graduate students who have worked closely with the Anthropology program at Davis. Applicant should submit a cover letter, CV, contact information for two (2) references, and a teaching statement. Example course syllabi and prior teaching evaluations are optional. To be eligible for appointment, you must have completed a Master's degree in Anthropology or related discipline. Preference will be given for candidates who have completed PhD coursework, are PhD candidates, or have completed a PhD in Anthropology or related discipline. Additional qualifications
