Anthropology Lecturer Position Biological Anthropology and Archaeology AY 2026-2027

The Department of Anthropology seeks a Biological Anthropology and Archaeology Lecturer (ANT 1), Introduction to Archaeology (ANT 3), and

Ancient Animals and People (ANT 25), Introduction to Forensic Anthropology (ANT 56), pending administrative approval and funding, for the academic year 2026-2027.

Demonstrated experience in teaching and an advanced degree in Anthropology or related discipline is required. We will prioritize recent graduate students who have worked closely with the Anthropology program at Davis.

To be eligible for appointment, you must have completed a Master's degree in Anthropology or related discipline. Preference will be given for candidates who have completed PhD coursework, are PhD candidates, or have completed a PhD in Anthropology or related discipline.

Must have demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching Biological Anthropology courses.
