Assistant Manager, Revenue - Crayola Experience, Orlando, FL

GENERAL SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for managing part-time retail, admissions, and food/beverage employees at the Crayola Experience. Ensures the best guest experience at guest arrival and retail check out. Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Consistently meets all guest satisfaction measures; implements established policies to address guest satisfaction and is responsible for any decisions that respond to guest inquiries/comments.
  • Achieves monthly and seasonal revenue goals.
  • Manages retail, admissions, and food/beverage employees including responsibility for recruiting/hiring, onboarding, time & attendance management, performance management, and terminations.
  • Responsible for training, operating, and maintaining all admission/cash register systems. Identifies issues and future needs (POS, Convergence, credit card processing, etc.)
  • Collaborates with CE departments to ensure efficient staff coverage based on traffic flow.
  • Maintains general housekeeping & safety standards. Responsible for training and adherence to safety, first aid, and evacuation procedures.
  • Provide ongoing training to employees to ensure they understand how to respond to emergency and difficult situations.
  • Responsible for education and adherence to standard operating procedures and company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the Manager on Duty rotation and assume overall management responsibility across all departments as "Manager on Duty".
  • Support cross-training of personnel from other departments.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:



  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred in business, communication, hospitality, or related field.
  • Three years of supervisory experience in visitor services, hospitality, or retail environment, previous experience managing cash/receipts function preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop/research, implement, and measure appropriate guest service, admission, and programming procedures, policies, and systems.
  • Proven strong analytical capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Strong ability for independent and sound decision-making
  • Required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
  • Required to be a Crayola first responder
