Inventory Coordinator
Ensure inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to production. Maintains control over various types of inventory (e.g. raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods etc.). Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records. Ensure that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct. Conducts analysis of inventory levels, and coordinates with production and sales requirements. Initiates and manages transactions to maintain inventory records.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitors inventory levels of product on order, in transit, received, in stock, and/or in production
Inputs data of inventory use in computer systems and generates reports
Reviews inventory levels with sales and customer service representatives to minimize inventory orders
Makes recommendation for re-order of materials and may enter purchase orders
Verifies and determines proper inventory levels/counts
May collect information and create reports as needed
May fill in for, assist, or interface with other plant support functions including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer service/order entry, proofreading orders, scheduling, shipping, receiving, ordering supplies, and receiving visitors
Performs other duties as assigned
Work Schedule: 8 - 12 Hour Day Shift (Some weekends required)
