As amanufacturing operatorin the machiningdepartment,you are an essential part in helping Entegris be part of the future of Innovation. The machining department produces a variety of high-quality plastic components and parts that our customers use with other components to dispense, transport, and store a range of different chemicals. In this role you willperform tasks suchasoperating CNC machines inspectingparts andensuring high-quality standardsby following Standard Operating Procedures.What You'll Do:Operates manual and CNC machines (vertical/horizontallathes, mills, grinders, 5-axis machines) to produce precision partsin accordancewithworkorder specifications.Safelyutilizescutting tools to perform minor corrective operations on machined products as needed.Collaborates with machinists and machining supervisors toensure that production schedule ismet,and any issues areescalated in a timely manner.UseSAP and other electronic systems to find,record,and generate documentation throughout theproductionprocess. Records all output and production data in ERP(Enterprise)systems andmaintaincompliance with all online training and documentation requirements.Packages finished ordersin accordance withspecifications, ensuring proper protection and handling.Performs manual and CNC machine preventative maintenance tasks(checking/filling oil,vacuuming,changingfilters,etc.)andotherhousekeeping duties.Ensures product is consistent with established specifications through Camline byutilizingdifferent measuring tools, such as calipers and drop/heightindicators.Escalatesquality issuestosupervisor or tothe qualitydepartmentas appropriate.Ensuring the highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality policy,ISOand/or other standards.Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly andtimely(i.e.Production Reports, Rack Tickets, Labels,ComponentSheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions etc.).Maintainsaccurateattributes/variable charts of rejected materials.Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, costeffectivenessand product/system quality.Promotes and implementsuseof continuous improvement tools toeliminatenon-value activities.Participates actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6s, Kaizen events, etc.Maintains a clean and safe work area. Performs duties in a safe manner andobservesapproved safety procedures and communicates potential hazardsimmediatelyto supervisor.Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.What We Seek:Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorshipHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredAt least one (1) year ofpreviousexperience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred.Ability to perform basic math calculations.Basic computer and data entry skills.Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team setting.High attention to detail and commitment tomaintaininghigh-quality standards.Proven ability to execute manufacturing processes within a tight tolerance.Ability to understand documented processes and proceduresindicatedin engineeringblueprints.Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand and walk for50% of the shift.Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.Work is performed in an environment with moderate to high noise levels. Hearing protectionmay berequiredwhile on duty.Must be able to use measuring devices (Calipers, measuring tape) and role involves periodic pinching and grasping of handtools.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)is required tobeworn at all timesin the manufacturing area.
