Summary:

As the Manager of Clinical Outreach, you'll be Guidelight's ambassador across Greater Boston, building the relationships and community partnerships that help more people access high-quality mental health care when they need it most. Reporting to the Vice President of Clinical Outreach, you'll play a key role in expanding Guidelight's presence in the market and shaping how we show up for providers, patients, and communities.This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on our growth and mission. You'll partner closely with operations and clinical leaders to develop and execute a market outreach strategy, identify and cultivate referral partnerships, and create seamless pathways for patients to connect with Guidelight's programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Development & Community Partnerships

    • Build, develop, and maintain strong referral relationships with therapists, psychiatrists, schools, health systems, managed care organizations, and other community partners.
    • Identify and cultivate new referral opportunities across priority markets while deepening engagement with existing partners.
    • Serve as a trusted resource on mental health treatment options, with expertise in Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).
    • Represent Guidelight in the community through networking events, educational programs, conferences, and provider meetings.


  • Patient Access & Consultation

    • Act as a consultative partner to providers, patients, and families navigating mental health treatment options and levels of care.
    • Partner closely with Admissions and Operations teams to ensure a seamless referral and intake experience.
    • Help identify and address barriers to treatment while facilitating timely access to Guidelight's programs.
    • Develop deep knowledge of Guidelight's services, outcomes, and clinical offerings to effectively support referral partners and prospective patients.


  • Market Growth & Strategy

    • Develop and execute outreach strategies that expand Guidelight's presence, strengthen referral networks, and support census growth.
    • Lead weekly market growth meetings to review referral trends, partnership opportunities, and growth initiatives.
    • Gather and synthesize market feedback from referral partners, patients, and community stakeholders to inform program and market strategy.


  • Pipeline Management & Data Integrity


    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date referral partner records, outreach activities, and pipeline data within the CRM.
    • Leverage CRM insights and performance metrics to prioritize outreach efforts, identify growth opportunities, and measure impact.
    • Adhere to established data hygiene standards to ensure reliable reporting, forecasting, and visibility into market performance.
    • Track referral trends and partnership activity to support strategic decision-making and market planning.




Qualifications:

  • Must be based in the Greater Boston area with approximately 75% travel across the market to meet with referral partners and community organizations.
  • 3+ years of experience in provider outreach, business development, account management, healthcare sales, or a related relationship-focused role, preferably within behavioral health or a high-growth healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with clinicians, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience educating and influencing clinical audiences.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage a territory, prioritize outreach efforts, and build a pipeline of referral relationships.
  • Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM to track activity, manage relationships, and maintain accurate data.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity and CRM hygiene.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven environment.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Clinical licensure and/or a background in behavioral healthcare preferred (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent), with the ability to engage credibly with clinicians and referral partners.

Pay Range
$90,000 $110,000 USD
