We're seeking motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team in Eleanor, WV. As a Fabrication Machine Operator, you'll work hands-on with production equipment, support the fabrication process, and help deliver products that connect and protect critical systems around the world. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Operate and support fabrication equipment to produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components while maintaining production efficiency and safety standards.
- Partner with machine operator leads and team members to meet daily production goals and customer requirements.
- Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and support manufacturing operations.
- Inspect work for quality and accuracy, ensuring products meet established specifications and standards.
- Adapt to changing production priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute ideas that enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance.
YOU HAVE:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Manufacturing, fabrication, or machine operation experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced production setting.
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing role, including standing, lifting, and operating equipment.
- Team members must be able to safely perform a range of physical activities, including standing and walking for extended periods, with frequent use of hands for tasks requiring dexterity and grip.
- Roles may require frequent bending, kneeling, and maintaining balance, with occasional climbing or repositioning to support production needs.
- This position is classified as medium work, requiring the ability to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs consistently.
- Employees must be able to effectively communicate, hear, and visually assess work to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy in a manufacturing environment.
