The PlannerMaintenanceLineforecasts, plans, and schedules maintenance events to maintainFederal Aviation Administration (FAA)regulatory compliance.ThePlannerwill be responsible forensuring all maintenance is scheduled within the required timeprovidingviable options necessary to route, re-route,and swap aircraft flying linesto accommodatetheplanned maintenancerequirements.ThePlannerensures no overfly activity of maintenance tasks while balancing the needs of Technical Operations, System Operations, Marketing, and other internal/external customers.
Essential Responsibilities
Ensuresthat the required maintenance is scheduledand accomplished within the calendar,flight-hour,and flight cycle limits as specified byJetBlue'sapproved maintenance programs,Federal Aviation Regulations, Airworthiness Directives and Special Instructions
Managesplot and routing changes such that all maintenance events arescheduled and performedwithin the time interval (i.e.,flight hours, cycles,days,etc.) of the task while accounting forlabor, ground time, parts, tooling, facilities, weather, etc.
Ensurescompliance withand tracking of aircraft to designated maintenance locations to meet projected induction date into JetBlue system(i.e.,maintenance ferries, repositioning flights, etc.)
