Salary Grade: T27

Pay Range: $58,850-$75,000

Position Summary
Temple's School of Pharmacy is searching for a motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven candidate with proven experience in engaging constituents in a donor pipeline to join our high-achieving team as an Senior Associate Director of Development. The Senior Associate Director will work collaboratively with the Dean of the School of Pharmacy and the Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations, Health Sciences as well as other stakeholders to support the advancement of the School's mission of excellence in education, research, and practice, with the goal of facilitating and managing activities to create and support a pipeline to achieve overall fundraising and engagement goals. In collaboration with the Dean of the School and the Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations, Health Sciences, the Senior Associate Director will provide internal operations services in the areas of donor stewardship, special events and implement initiatives to strengthen alumni engagement at the School of Pharmacy.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree and at least four years of alumni engagement/fundraising and/or related experience successfully utilizing the required skills and abilities noted below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required skills and abilities:

* Proven ability to engage and interact effectively with diverse constituents and serve as a charismatic ambassador

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express information, including funding needs and giving opportunities

* Demonstrated interpersonal skills, integrity, and success with developing and sustaining relationships with key constituents

* Proven ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively, as appropriate

* Attention to detail and ability to balance multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment

* Commitment to professional development, learning, and being mentored

* Strong work ethic and determination to achieve goals

* Capability with Microsoft 365, as well as Banner, FPM (Blackbaud), or similar CRM/fundraising databases

* Ability to travel in the US and work evening/weekend hours, as needed

Preferred

- Experience in an academic and/or medical advancement setting *
