Description
Plans, implements, directs and evaluates daily activities of Social Work, Child Life, Language Services and Pastoral Care. Facilitates the development, implementation, and reporting and on-going enhancement Social Work, Child Life, Pastoral Care and Interpreter services. Supports interdisciplinary as well as interdepartmental collaborative practice. Manages departmental budget. Fosters positive and professional interpersonal relationships with patients/families, physicians, hospital staff, community agency representatives and visitors.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Master's Degree Social Work degree (Required) Minimum Work Experience 7 years Related and progressive experience (Required) 3 years Supervisory experience (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge Familiarity with software such as Windows environment (i.e., Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of children's health issues. Knowledge of cultural issues and their impact on health care. Required Licenses and Certifications LICSW licensure (Required) Functional Accountabilities Ensures Delivery of effective psychosocial services to patients and families
