MRIGlobal is seeking a hands-on proposal leader to lead a high-performing proposal management function for government proposals. As Manager, Proposal Management, you will oversee proposal operations while also directly leading proposal development on complex and high-value proposal pursuits.


This is a role for a professional who combines deep federal proposal expertise with strong team leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to deliver high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Business Development and Marketing.



Roles and Responsibilities



  • Lead and develop the proposal management team by setting clear expectations, coaching proposal professionals, aligning resources to priorities, and building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee proposal operations and process excellence across the full lifecycle of government proposals, improving tools, templates, workflows, compliance practices, review processes, and submission readiness.
  • Directly manage proposals for complex and high-priority opportunities, including schedules, compliance matrices, kickoff and status meetings, content plans, review cycles, and final submission activities. You will also support other bids as team bandwidth requires.
  • Partner across the business to support growth by working closely with business development, pricing, contracts, technical teams, and leadership to ensure proposal readiness, clear decision-making, and strong execution.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables by driving disciplined reviews, maintaining proposal standards and templates, performing compliance and quality checks, and reducing submission risk through proactive oversight.



Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, English, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
  • 7+ years of relevant federal proposal management experience including responsibility for complex federal proposals.
  • 3+ years of experience leading proposal teams and/or supervising proposal professionals in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of proposal lifecycle management, including compliance, review, and submission procedures
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional proposal teams, including business development, pricing, contracts, and technical subject matter experts.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional Strong writing, editing, project management, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat and proposal management, collaboration, and document control tools.

Pay Range $128,900 - $161,000


The salary range is intended as a general guideline and is not a guaranteed offer, as compensation depends on various factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market conditions.
