Communications Manager- Change Management

Long term contract (thru December 2027)

Hybrid-Northern Suburbs (3 days onsite/2 days remote

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company in the northern suburbs of Chicago, is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to support a large-scale procurement transformation initiative. This role will focus on developing and executing supplier-facing communications that support the rollout of new technologies, processes, and operational changes across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting change management initiatives, managing communications for large stakeholder groups, and partnering with senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, edit, and execute supplier communications related to procurement technology and process changes.
  • Partner with Change Management, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure accurate and effective messaging.
  • Manage communication reviews and approvals with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate communication distribution and ensure suppliers receive timely, actionable information.
  • Monitor supplier inquiries and route questions to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Support change management efforts that drive supplier awareness, readiness, and adoption.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in communications, change management, stakeholder engagement, or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting large-scale organizational or technology-driven change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience working with executive leadership, including VP and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.


Preferred:

  • Experience with supplier, procurement, sourcing, finance, or vendor communications.
  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industry experience.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies and enterprise communication platforms.
