Construction Materials Technicians & Special Inspectors - Hiring Event Requisition Number: 2026-1350-13 Do you like to work outside? Do you have an interest in construction? Previous experience working in construction is preferred but not required. When: Thursday, June 25th, from 9:00am - 4:00pm Interviews conducted on-site. Where: S&ME Charlotte Office 8848 Red Oak Blvd, Suite A Charlotte, NC 28217 As a Construction Materials Technician or Special Inspector, you'll play a vital role in ensuring construction projects, from local eateries to major sports venues, are built with quality and safety at the forefront. Whether you're new to the field or bring years of expertise, you'll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities to advance. Seasoned professionals can take on leadership roles, guiding projects and mentoring colleagues. Job Responsibilities:
Experience shifting work hours based on project demands and weather, including early mornings, some Saturdays, and overtime (paid at time and a half). Occasional travel to support other offices is covered with per diem and lodging. Technician Level Qualifications:
Pay begins at $20/hr with no direct experience.
