Entry-Level Data Center Cable Technician (Structured Cabling) *Pay:* $22-$26/hour

Important Requirements * *Must be a U.S.-born citizen* (required for government clearance eligibility) * Must be comfortable commuting between *Dublin, Hilliard, and New Albany* * *Cannot have been previously employed by or badge-holder for a major cloud provider* (including warehouse, delivery, or fulfillment roles) What You'll Be Doing As a Cable Technician, you will support the installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems inside a data center environment. Your responsibilities will include: * Pulling, dressing, and labeling *Cat5e/Cat6 cables* following industry standards (TIA/EIA) * Assisting with *cable terminations* (RJ45 connectors and patch panels) * Performing *basic punch-downs* for telecom systems with guidance * Supporting *cable testing* using tools like Fluke or EXFO (training provided) * Assisting with *fiber optic cable handling and routing* * Ensuring proper *labeling and cable identification* * Maintaining a *safe, clean, and organized workspace* * Following direction from lead technicians and project supervisors What We're Looking For This is an *entry-level role*, but we're seeking motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and interest in technical or construction-based work.
