Description Perform laptop and desktop refresh tasks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Provide on-site technical support to hospital staff, ensuring minimal disruption to their workflow. Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and service requests. Collaborate with IT team members to resolve technical issues promptly. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar field services or technical support role. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with medical staff. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently. Familiarity with hospital IT environments is a plus. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Working Conditions: Primarily based at Oshkosh hospital, with occasional travel to other Advocate Health locations as needed. Must be able to lift and move computer equipment as required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Adaptability: Flexibility to handle unexpected issues and changes in a dynamic hospital setting. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to document processes and explain technical issues clearly. Team Collaboration: Ability to work well with other IT team members and hospital staff. Technical Certifications: Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are advantageous. Basic Networking Knowledge: Understanding of network configurations and troubleshooting. Security Awareness: Knowledge of basic cybersecurity practices to ensure the safety of hospital data. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
