Find your calling at Mercy! The Coordinator-Retail Shop is responsible for all inventory-related essential functions of three retail locations on the campus of Mercy Hospital St. Louis. These locations include the Gift Shop and the Mercy Co-Worker Store. The primary responsibilities of this position include inventory selection and purchasing, inventory management, vendor relations, pricing strategy, merchandising, and virtual retail platform development. This position will function in partnership with the direct supervisor to manage any additional operational functions deemed necessary and appropriate for successful performance of retail sites. The Coordinator will perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards. The ideal candidate has experience in retail operations, comfortable with computers and POS inventory systems, is detail-oriented, creative, and collaborative. Position Details:

Education: High school diploma and at least 2 years college or 3 years of relevant experience.

Experience: 5 years of retail experience; required experience with purchasing, merchandising, inventory management.

Other: Must have intermediate or advanced computer skill level.
Preferred Education: Some retail management, inventory management, supply chain education preferred.

Preferred Experience: Leadership of back-of-house retail operations (inventory, purchasing, supply chain). Experience in gift industry retail space, hospital gift shop experience preferred.

Preferred Other: Point of sale/inventory management system knowledge.
