Drives the go-to-market strategy for technical solutions

The Industrial Engineer plays a key role in driving the adoption and implementation of advanced technical solutions across manufacturing environments and production lines. This role collaborates closely with sales teams and customers to identify opportunities, support solution deployment and ensure long-term satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background and a passion for solving complex challenges in production settings.


What You'll do
  • Drive sales in a defined geographic area by working with sales teams to develop the Hilti business with industry customers.
  • Analyze customer operations and identify opportunities for solution deployment.
  • Collaborate with account managers and solution consultants to target key accounts with high potential.
  • Lead technical discussions with customer decision-makers to demonstrate the value of our solutions.
  • Manage implementation projects, including initial setup and ongoing technical support.
  • Train and mentor sales teams to identify and pursue solution opportunities.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customer engineering/quality teams and Hilti internal stakeholders.
  • Support change management and integration of our solutions into customer workflows and systems.
  • Ensure successful onboarding and long-term usage of deployed solutions.
  • Be an expert on Hilti's industry assembly tool portfolio and be able to lead a discussion on assembly tool benefits with decision makers.
  • Partner with sales team and solutions consultants on focus accounts with significant potential - target based off customer list defined by segment manager.
  • Responsible for initial line setup/implementation and care phase technical support execution with the customer.
  • Grow competence in the sales team to identify opportunities and duplicate themselves within the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in manufacturing or production environments, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field) a plus.
  • Experience working with production lines, involving and related applications.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel for customer visits and solution implementation.
  • Problem-solving mindset and resilience in overcoming challenges.
  • Passion for continuous learning and long-term commitment to the role.
  • Demonstrates the ability to build and maintain sustainable client relationships that drive long-term sales growth and customer loyalty.
  • Strong problem-solving skills. Will not take no for an answer.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel, including multi-day business trips to customer locations.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills; capable of managing internal and external stakeholders and training team members.
  • Has an interest in staying in the role for a minimum of three (3) to four (4) years.
