This position seeks an organized, detail-focused, driven individual with strong leadership abilities and comprehensive procurement experience. The role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to purchase order management, supervision of three shop staff members, equipment oversight, facility coordination, and compliance monitoring. The successful candidate will handle all purchasing operations for a substantial teaching and research department comprising over 39 faculty members with annual spending that surpasses $8 million. Additionally, they must ensure all acquisitions adhere to UC policies along with state and federal regulations while maintaining proper transaction documentation. The Procurement Supervisor provides education and guidance to end-users regarding contractual agreements and ordering procedures for various goods and services while ensuring appropriate sourcing of all purchases. This role involves coordinating with receivers for equipment deliveries, installations, closures, and facility requests. Additionally, the supervisor delivers exceptional customer service to faculty, students, staff, and researchers by addressing urgent requests, change orders, cancellations, invoice concerns, and other diverse needs. The position also requires maintaining precise records of departmental capital equipment and performing yearly inventory inspections.

The full salary range for the Procurement Supervisor is $75,900.00 - $137,300.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $75,900.00 - $91,250.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
