Alcon is looking to hire a Sr. Data Scientist - Digital Health, youwillberesponsible forapplyingexpertise inAI/ML and advanced analyticsto design and build

analyticsproductsand servicesin digital health, partnering withacross-functional teamofdigital productmanagers, data engineers,andsolution architectsin an agile environment.In addition, you will collaborate withbusiness partners to defineand translate the business problems into structured analytic approaches and drive actionable insights from data tosupportdigital product development andcritical business decisions.We are a fast-growing team, which will give you the opportunity to shape our ways of working and culture - think start-up, but inside a global leader in eye care.We are looking for someonewho isastrategic thinker and problem solver.

This role is on-site in our Fort Worth, Texas location and a typical day would include:

  • Develop and operationalizereusable and modular dataanalytics products on Alcon digital healthdataplatform.
  • Collaborate withdataproduct team to definerequirementsfordata pipelines, productsandanalytics use cases.
  • Collaborate with data engineering team tobuilddata products and analytic use cases.
  • Collaboratewithbusiness partners to definebusiness problems,and design andbuild advanced analysis and MLmodels thatdrive actionable insights from data to support business decisions
  • Advocate and educate on the value of data-driven decision-making, with a focus on solving problems.
  • Stay updated withAI/MLinnovations and best practices and continuedriving improvementsofour analyticscapabilities.
  • Fostera culture of creativity, collaboration, speed, innovation, andengineeringexcellence.
  • Strong knowledge of ML techniques like classification, regression, anomaly detection, and optimizationonlarge-scale data.
  • Deep understanding of ML and deep learning methods with their underlying theory and math.
  • Proficient in Python and SQL.
  • Experience withBI and dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Thrives in cross-functional teams, values diverse perspectives, and adapts quickly to new challenges and domains.
  • Solution-oriented, challenges the status quo, and is passionate about tackling complex problems.

What You'll Bring To Alcon:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare andrelatedAI and dataanalyticsuse cases
