Senior Environmental, Health & Safety Manager Location: Houston, TX (Travel up to 30%)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and strengthen our environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance programs across multiple locations. This is a high-impact leadership role that partners closely with operations, facilities, and executive leadership to build a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.

What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve corporate Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Create and maintain internal EHS audit protocols to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead EHS onboarding and integration efforts for newly acquired businesses and support transition activities across locations.
- Oversee third-party qualification programs and implement efficient workflows to manage contractor and customer compliance requirements.
- Manage offsite incidents, including reporting, root cause analysis, corrective action development, insurance coordination, and follow-up.
- Develop and implement company-wide offsite safety standards and requirements.
- Partner with facility leadership to identify hazards, reduce risk, and foster a proactive safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, FMCSA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support and enhance the RelaDyne Driver Performance Program.
- Conduct site audits and assessments to evaluate safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee DISA drug testing programs and FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance.
- Facilitate safety champion meetings, training initiatives, and other required safety communications.
- Collaborate with environmental consultants to maintain environmental compliance and support budgeting activities.
- Conduct insurance risk assessments and audits throughout assigned regions.
- Advise leadership on compliance gaps, training needs, and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential safety, environmental, and personnel records.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to EHS team members as assigned.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations.
- Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation.
- Experience developing and implementing EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to conduct audits and assess regulatory compliance across multiple locations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 30%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly desired but not required.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations.
- Prior leadership or people management experience.
- Experience with acquisitions, integrations, or organizational growth initiatives.
- Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHMM, or equivalent.
- Experience in industrial distribution, transportation, manufacturing, logistics, or related industries.
